Shoes for Souls - Service Opportunity
Tuesday evening, October 6th thirty boxes of shoes will be loaded into a UHaul to be driven to Las Vegas for distribution. Mark your calendar for 6PM. to assist loading and blessing our contribution. Come join all your Unity friends with great food and fun for the whole family! We will enjoy fellowship and entertainment on the church patio after 2nd service. Attractions include hot dogs, hamburgers, vegetarian fare, an inflatable water slide, dunking booth, cake walk, and lots more... Help Unity Church of the Hills end the summer with a blast!

Five Basic Ideas of Unity
Unity encourages us all to explore and apply Unity teachings based on our own spiritual understanding. We believe this spiritual understanding is enhanced through reflective prayer and meditation. The five basic ideas that make up the Unity belief system are:
1) God is the source and creator of all. There is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.
2) We are spiritual beings, created in God’s image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore, all people are inherently good.
3) We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.
4) There is power in affirmative prayer, which we believe increases our connection to God.
5) Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough. We must live them.

One of the first things you should do is build your profile or "MY PAGE" you can get to it by clicking on the "MY PAGE" tab near the top of the screen...be sure to add a photo of your beautiful mug and tell us a little about yourself.
You can really customize your "MY PAGE" by adding pictures, blog entries, music, etc...please feel free to ask a member of the web team to help you as you go or answer any questions you may have.
Next you may want to check out the FORUM section to view and add comments to discussions that have been created in the different categories or add your own postings as well. You can easily click on the FORUM tab near the top of the page or scroll down below the Calendar to link to it as well.
You can also visit fellow members pages by going to the MEMBERS tab near the top of the page and clicking on their picture which will take you to their profile. You can then send them a message to connect or just say hello.
Don't see one of your buddies on the site yet? You can also invite others to join the group by clicking on the INVITE tab and send them a message about how they're missing out on all the fun in the UCOH Men's Group. You will need their email address to do this.

UCOH is needing a night manager on Tuesdays from 6:30-9:30 PM. I will be covering one of the Tuesdays each month and need assistance for the other Tuesdays. Please call me at 771-9910 if your schedule will allow one Tuesday night a month.
